Installation
Jets™ systems for buses are easy to install. Standard systems feature a toilet, a pump, a control unit and a collecting tank. A water tank and a power connection is all you need to make our systems work. Washbasins or sinks can also be connected to the vacuum system by using a greywater interface tank.
Toilets and greywater sources
Up to 4 toilets or greywater interfaces can be connected to a standard system in a bus (using a Vacuum On Demand system). This covers the needs of nearly all buses. Expansion modules are available for systems requiring more toilets or greywater interfaces.
Vacuum pump
Our 10NT Vacuumarator™ pump shown on the Vest Horisont bus photos, is the most compact vacuum pump in our range. Due to its small footprint, it can be installed nearly anywhere in a bus. If greater vacuum generating capacity is needed, the larger 15M pump can be installed.
Single-pump collection and discharge
The Vacuumarator™ pump is not only capable of collecting blackwater and greywater efficiently. It can also be used as a discharge pump to empty on-board tanks.
A level indicator in the collecting tank tells the operator when it is time to empty the tank.
After closing the vacuum piping connection, a discharge hose from the pump is connected to a public sewer line. The tank to be emptied is connected to the suction side of the Vacuumarator™ pump by opening a valve.
The pump is started and empties the tank. The piping is then reset to normal operation - all by turning a few valve handles.
