Installation

Installing a Jets™ vacuum sanitary system is a very simple task, which most of our customers are fully capable of doing themselves. A comprehensive illustrated installation guide is included with every system, and is also available for download.

Our systems can operate on mains or battery power, with or without running water. These are very brief descriptions of different installation options:

Installation with mains power and running water

The vacuum pump is plugged into an available socket fused at 10A. The water supply is connected directly to the toilet through a standard 1/2" coupling.

Installation with mains power, but without running water

The vacuum pump is plugged into an available socket fused at 10A. A 25 litre can of water is connected to the toilet through an included pump. Using 0,5 litres of water per flush, the 25 litre can will last 50 flushes.

Installation with solar/battery power and running water

A 12 volt battery with a solar powered charger supplies ample power to the vacuum pump. The water supply is connected directly to the toilet through a standard 1/2" coupling.

Installation with solar/battery power, but without running water

A 12 volt battery with a solar powered charger supplies ample power to the vacuum pump. A 25 litre can of water is connected to the toilet through an included pump. Using 0,5 litres of water per flush, the 25 litre can will last 50 flushes.

Water connections and tank installation should be carried out by a professional.
