Jets™ and Hareid mayor join forces to keep beach clean

The beautiful Overåsanden beach, located near the Jets™ group's home town of Hareid, is the finest beach in all of Sunnmøre according to the locals. But like many other beaches along the Norwegian coast, one important thing detracts from the experience - there are no restrooms. Now, Jets™ and the municipality of Hareid have now joined forces and shared the cost of a high-tech restroom trailer which will provide better sanitary conditions both on the beach and elsewhere in the community when needed.

Jets™ toilet wins coveted design award

At the Technoport Awards 2011 in Trondheim, Norway, the Jets™ group's new Pearl toilet was awarded the prize for best design: Design Award 2011. The Trondheim based design company Kadabra Produktdesign AS received the award for the work they have done for Jets™ in developing the unique toilet design.

Jets™ supports student enterprise Atech SB

The student enterprise Atech SB, established by students of Ålesund University College, has developed a decontamination system to remove oil from bilge water on board ships. The system employs an existing filter design in a new way and in a new area of use, making the installation of Atech's solution on all types of ships with bilge water oil separators a simple process.

Dealership conference at Jets™ Land & Transport division

About 20 dealers and distributors of Jets™ vacuum systems from Norway, Sweden and Finland joined the Jets™ staff at Hareid on Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th of February. With the beautiful Storfjorden in its winter shroud as a magnificent backdrop, the conference was nothing short of a success.

Jets™ congratulates Runde Environmental Centre

Jets™ and A-Plast donates restroom facilities to local GoKart club

The NMK Sunnmøre motor club has built one of Norway's finest GoKart tracks at Leikongeidet in Sande county, Norway. Strategically placed in the centre of the Sunnmøre region, local GoKart drivers appreciate having this track so close - and the track is also fast gaining a nationwide reputation. But until Friday, October 1st, the track lacked a key facility - restrooms. Thanks to a gift from Jets™ and Skodje-based company A-Plast, this is no longer an issue.
